Company Overview

Redstone College has a proud history of graduating more than 10,000 students with career-focused educations in a variety of targeted in-demand and growing fields. Our campus is located in Broomfield, Colorado between Denver and Boulder, and is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Classes are kept small for optimal learning in facilities that sport a combined $7.5M in training aids. Over time the college has evolved to stay in step with industry needs and changes.

By teaching students the skills and knowledge needed by industry, and the work behaviors expected by employers, we empower students to successfully pursue their individual career goals. Company History

Milestones
1965 - Colorado Aerotech founded to offer Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) training

1989 – An Advanced Electronics Technology (Avionics) program added to keep pace with the advancements and sophistication of electronics in aviation

1994 - Colorado Aerotech purchased by Paris Management Alta Colleges

2000 - Name changed to Westwood College of Aviation Technology

2006 – Name changed to Redstone College in 2006 in order to add the non-aviation programs of Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration and Construction Management

2010 - Added Wind Energy Technology to our suite of programs

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition

Redstone College Instructor Wins National Aviation Award BROOMFIELD, COLO. (Sept. 24, 2013) - Redstone College announced today that Bret Proud, an Airframe & Powerplant instructor, was recently named a 2013 Regional Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) of the Year by the National General Aviation (GA) Awards Committee. The GA Awards program is a cooperative effort between more than 18 general aviation industry sponsors and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Redstone Wins Third Consecutive Year at Aircraft Maintenance Competition March 22, 2013 - For the third consecutive year, Redstone College has proven its Airframe and Powerplant students' skills are among the best in the industry. Competing among other colleges and professional teams at the AMTSociety's Sixth Annual Maintenance Skills Competition, Redstone College won first place in the student category and placed fourth overall among commercial, military, college and aircraft maintenance operations teams.
