About Orsted

The Ørsted A/S (Ørsted) vision is a world that runs entirely on green energy. Ørsted develops, constructs, and operates onshore and offshore wind farms, solar farms, energy storage, bioenergy plants, and innovative waste-to-energy solutions and provides smart energy to customers. Ørsted is the global leader in offshore wind with 5.6GW in operation.

In October 2018, Ørsted acquired 100% of Lincoln Clean Energy, LLC. Due to the ongoing success of the Lincoln Clean Energy team and the U.S.-based growth expectations over the coming years, Lincoln Clean Energy assumed the Ørsted Onshore name as of 16 December 2019. Ørsted Onshore is a developer, owner, and operator of clean power projects with a focus on onshore wind, solar, and energy storage in the U.S. Ørsted Onshore has offices in Chicago, Illinois, Austin, Texas and Charlottesville, Virginia.
